Kelsey was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. The outdoors and the ocean have seeped into nearly every one of her creative projects.
Kelsey has:
- Been an assistant for National Geographic
- A Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking at the University of Western England in Bristol, UK
- Owns local art company Sea Otter Studio
- Worked a 5 month contract in Antarctica for the National Science Foundation
The goal of her art is to spread awareness for the ever growing impact of waste in our oceans through repurposing items like fishing debris in her pieces wherever possible.
